DEPRESSION, ANXIETY & STRESS
 
Well, all 3 complaints are linked. It is almost impossible to sometimes avoid stress. Hectic workplace, relationships, kids the dog and continuous juggling acts with our lives.
Studies show that if your feeling a bit down, the body will naturally crave sweet things such as carbohydrates, biscuits, chocolate and cakes but all 3 contain seratonin which is said to lift the spirits but in moderation. 70% coco chocolate and 3 small pieces not the whole bar of that a day as your treat, is fine.
Red wine a glass a day is good for your heart. If you lead a healthy lifestyle then every now and again a treat is ok because we all need to be naughty sometimes.
 
Taking deep breaths, in through your nose and out through your mouth is something you can do when you feel stressed. This creates more oxygen to the brain helping also aid seratonin to the body.
 
A quick lift for depression are chillies, which release endorphins, which naturally boost the spirits. Ginger has a similar effects
So a meal of stir-fried chicken, tofu, or liver with fresh root ginger and chillies is a savoury solution to feast upon if you are feeling down.
 
There are oils that can help, massage there is always something never give up which is what the brain can tell you. If you lose someone or you lose a part of yourself you have to say I will learn from that experience and will do something to honour. Remember to try and remember the happy feelings, I have many stars in the sky that relate to people and myself.
 
When I suffered from depression after my car crash due to my back, which can cause emotional problems. It was Pilate's and yoga exercises and the breathing is very important during this unrelenting state of mind.
5HTP tablets and ginseng helped with my progression and great for the mind and is a natural anti-depressant, which you can get from Holland and Barratt.
 
Regular meditation, eating and exercise are the key, trust me. I can now pretty much do most exercises you have to bypass that pain sometimes a lot of people make the mistake by giving up and the brain and muscles need to keep active and receive blood flow and oxygen.

Affirmations are a good way of helping your mind. Unfortunately the brain takes on more negative then positive information. If you are in pain the best thing you can do is say “my pain is getting better”.
If you are un confident you need to tell your self  ‘I am confident, I have a lot to listen to and people will respect me, I will listen to them, value them and myself’
Famous word is ‘I cant’ actually you can and will.
It’s all power of thought at the end of it. And the brain is much more powerful and can override most situations or problems. It's just laughing it of never tell yourself you are stupid or silly. You are clever and intelligent. Say the opposite of what you think and you will notice a lot more difference in the outlook to your life and future.
 
I can't stand antidepressants because your body ends up relying on them, you get insomnia and if you miss one then you may really feel it or especially if you stop. I'm not saying they don't work and sometimes you may need them, but there are many more alternatives out there that are good for these conditions and things you can do by yourself.
 
Avoid drugs and alcohol if you are feeling low this will just make you ten times more depressed and is only a short term re-laxer and fixer.
The problem is self destruct and not valuing yourself and when you are in this state, then doing this can lead to worse conditions cause you feel invincible and the mask is easily put on.
 
Always talk to someone that you can trust such as a counsellor and take steps that way. The drugs and doctors medication just mask the pain, a bit like taking painkillers, it masks it but it’s not working on correcting the problems long term.
You must seek professional help before taking any supplements or change in diet.
Once again don't forget herbal has been going thousands of years, so has complimentary medicine.

You need to get to the undying issues and route cause to heal your body, spirit and minds, don't try and mask it, If you need to cry then do so, If you need to shout then do so. Never ever bottle up feelings it will show in other ways.
 
There is plenty of help out there for you!
 
If you are working hard time to cut down those hours get fit instead, learn a different hobbies something where you won't have to work as hard.
Find different ways of networking.
 
If you are suffering a relationship problem ask your self what can I do to change it? How long do I continue? Put a time limit on it for your self-respect and confidence, don't blame yourself, try and correct it and don’t forget to talk. If things are done in the right way and right context then you can't go wrong.
If not accept it and time to move away if problems don't correct in say 3-6 months, don't stress your self out to those that can't give you anything back.
 
Money problems that are the route cause, write down bad habits and what you don't really need, debt management is helpful. How can you perhaps earn more money?
 
You see what I am trying to get at, that you give yourself 2 options in any situation (Black and white), see it in this manner then you can't go wrong.
Make your life simple no matter how hard the missions change it for the better, Why wait for your mind to be disturbed into illness, when you will live better and happier?
 
You only get one shot at life live it. Don't get to an age where you have not achieved things and what you have done be grateful and happy to have experience the best possible life from now on. It is all about the present and the future that counts.
 
My growing up was very disturbed and I feel far happier now than ever. Due to changes that are positive, past is past and here is now the future is good, and there will be up’s and down's but when there is the down, it makes me the strong person I am today, and nothing or no-one can take that away from me but myself.
