MEDITATION FOR BALANCING THE CHAKRAS

Grounding yourself:
In order to ground yourself you will picture the roots and feel the earth beneath your feet. Concentrating on your breathing, inhaling and exhaling. Picture a blue bubble surrounding you. Take this time to see your problems disappearing to the surface of the bubble.
Now picture a golden light or a sword coming into the crown Chakra. Try visualising all three the soil, blue bubble (your aura) and the glow above your head.

Before you start your meditation:
Before you begin, ensure you have 20 to 30 minutes of your own personal time and you have no distractions.
Make sure you are in a dark room.
Light a candle
Play relaxing music

Now you are ready to begin:
Sit or Lie down. Breathe in and breathe out. Feel your torso expanding and your lungs filling with air.
As you do this feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed.
Take this time to scan the rest of your body for any aches or tension.
Simply breathe into this area releasing it.
Once you are sure you feel no more pain and have scanned the body the whole body right the way through inhale and exhale.
You should be feeling nice and relaxed and your mind is calm with no concerns and your problems have disappeared to the top of the bubble.
Should your mind begin to wonder you simply have to return to your breathing.
If you want to come out of this magical trance you can do so by simply opening your eyes.

Take this time to relax with the Chakras being open. You could use crystals on your body or around the aura to enhance this process.

Now start wiggling your toes and it’s time to come back into reality.
You can use a pendulum at the beginning to see what Chakras are out of balance and at the end to see that you are now more balanced.
