LOVE CANDLE MEDITATION
 
Choose the focus of your mediation and use this as a guide when selecting a candle you want either a red or preferably a pink one. You want to use a fragrance that represents love such as an oil of rose burn that (adding water to oil burner). This meditation is designed to increase your love energy either towards yourself or to bring others in to love you too. I always find it a nice idea when doing this meditation to be wearing pink and to be holding a crystal such as rose quartz.

• Prepare Your Meditation Space

• Ensure that your meditation area is pleasant, warm and free of clutter, most important make sure that you have no disturbances. Light the incense or oil if you wish. The candle needs to be set on a low table in line of your vision. Rub the fragrance of oil, spray etc. onto the candle.

• Study the candle and observe it, as it shifts between movement and stillness.
 
• As you keep your attention on the candle, you will begin to feel focused and peaceful. This state is called relaxed awareness. If your attention starts to wander then draw it back to the candles flame.
 
• You will now find that the flame of the candle responds to your focus. You can ‘will’ it to grow taller or remain until it stays still, and this is as strong confirmation of the power of your meditation. The candle will be releasing fragrance as it burns and you can now visualise your wishes or intentions.

• As you gaze at the flame, visualise the effect that you wish for. Begin by tuning into loving feelings within yourself. Allow them to grow stronger as you meditate. Now direct that feeling of love towards the focus of your meditation.

• To conclude your meditation session, take 3 deep breaths and blow out your candle.
 
 
Try and do this for 20 minutes.
