CANDLE MEDITATION
 
1. Imagine a small, lighted candle, Deep inside your abdomen.
2. Breathe in and exhale into the candles flame. The flame grows bigger and bigger.
3. Breathe in and out into the flame again. Keep breathing in this way until you can see it spreading throughout the body.
4. With the next out breath fill the flame as it expands beyond your body and outside into your aura.
5. Be aware of the warmth, golden flame all around you don't think about it, just feel it.
6. Observe the flame noticing it slowly changing colour, stay with each colour breathing gently until you feel at one with it as it passes over. You can control the colour and shape by simple breathing into it.
7. Imagine it changing from gold to yellow
8. Now change, feel it as it emerges into a soft green.
9. Relax.
10. The colour will become turquoise
11. Breathe again as the colour deepens blue.
12. Change colour to mauve as you observe the flame, it deepens to purple.
13. Change the colour to a beautiful crystal pink. You then slowly deepen it to red then orange.
14. As you feel the orange slowly it lightens to yellow and the flame returns to its warm golden glow.
15. Stay with the golden glow until ready to return to consciousness.
16. When you are ready, allow the flame to grow smaller until it is a tiny light within your abdomen again containing all the energy and healing powers of the colours and light that you have seen
17. Start breathing deeply through your torso count to ten visualise the numbers open your eyes wiggle your toes and take a big stretch remain seated till your fully back into the room.
